Peter as they were before a number of works started since the 16th century. In this medieval burg, the Hotel Bramante is situated near the well known Passetto, the wall between the Vatican and Castel S.Angelo, intended as a safe passage for the Popes in case of siege. This Hotel was the home of the architect Domenico Fontana in 1574. All 16 rooms in this Hotel, recently restored, include modern conveniences typical of world famous roman hospitality.
